Sometimes we share an idea or a dream with someone and ask what they think, don’t we?
And of course, asking for another perspective is a good thing.
Every opinion has value.
But most people can only see as far as they’ve been themselves.
They give advice based on their own experiences, their own journey, and the world they know.
So when someone tells us, “That won’t work,” or “That’s too difficult,” maybe it really isn’t possible in their world.
But why shouldn’t it be possible in ours?
That’s why, when we share a dream with someone, it’s worth thinking about the road they’ve travelled, what they’ve experienced, and what they’ve seen along the way.
Because, in the end, everyone can give advice.
But the real question is: Will that advice encourage us to take the first step, or will it make us hesitate?
